Rev. Darren Lim, Senior Pastor

Pastor Darren is the Senior Pastor of Haven Christian Community Church, a vibrant and family oriented church in the Fremont, Union City and Newark area. He has a passion to see people come to Jesus Christ as fully committed followers. Along with his wife, Melissa, their desire is to see people loving God and loving people for His glory. They enjoy life with their two adult children and a Christian community who desires to see the Bay Area become followers of Jesus Christ and welcoming His grace into their lives. Pastor Darren also teaches as a professor at Bay Cities Bible College in Berkeley, California and an affiliated instructor at A. W. Tozer Seminary in Redding, California. He serves on the Ordained Ministers Body of the OMS Holiness Churches of North America Conference.

Rev. Joseph Roberts, Pastor Emeritus

Pastor Joe is the Pastor Emeritus of Haven Christian Community Church, a vibrant and family oriented church in the Fremont, Union City and Newark area. He was part of the founding team of Haven Christian Community Church in 1993 and served faithfully for 22 years as the senior pastor before his retirement in 2015. Along with his wife, Cynthia, they continue to serve in the church teaching the Bible in small groups and occasionally on Sunday mornings. They relish their retirement with their two adult sons, two daughter-in-laws and three grandchildren. Besides volunteering at Haven Christian Community Church, Pastor Joe continues to serve where he can in the OMS Holiness Churches of North America Conference.
